How It Works
What door-to-door transport means in practice
Door-to-door auto transport means the carrier picks up your vehicle at or near your specified address and delivers it at or near the destination address — eliminating the need to travel to a carrier terminal or depot.
In most residential neighborhoods and suburban areas, carriers can park directly outside your home or in your driveway. In dense urban areas, tight residential streets, or locations with overhead clearance restrictions, the driver will call ahead and arrange a nearby meeting point.
This is the standard service model we use for all shipments. The alternative — terminal-to-terminal — requires you to drop off and pick up at fixed depot locations, which adds inconvenience without a meaningful cost savings on most routes.
What to expect at pickup and delivery
Advance notice from the carrier
The carrier will contact you 12–24 hours before pickup to confirm timing. They'll call again when they're en route. Make sure your phone number is accurate when booking.
Condition inspection at pickup
The driver will walk around your vehicle and complete a Bill of Lading — a document noting existing scratches, dents, or damage. Review it carefully and note any disagreements before signing.
Transit and tracking
Your vehicle is in transit. You can call or text the driver directly for updates. Transit time depends on your route — we'll give you an estimated delivery window at dispatch.
Condition inspection at delivery
The same process at delivery: inspect the vehicle against the pickup Bill of Lading before signing. If you find new damage, note it on the delivery document before the driver leaves — this is essential for any insurance claim.
